I work at a restaurant and it amazes me how many people don't have any proper manners like thank you and please lmao. I'm use to it by now though.

I know the feeling, its like when someone Famous kept locking my COD thread. Just trying to be kind and help people out but there is always someone trying to take you out

Think of it as if you're doing it for yourself. That you're doing it to be a better person and never expect good in return

Give a hand when you feel you need to, that's what i do, No point in going out of your way unless you know the person you're doing it for would do it back. I relate to this rant tho

I feel this so hard. I work a retail job at a clothing store, and I cannot even fathom how rude people are. No matter how friendly I am sometimes or if I give people discounts so they can get the clothes they want (even if I'm not supposed to) I still get customers who are absolutely awful. I've had several people curse me out because they swiped there card before the computer was ready (they just came up and swiped the card before I even checked out all their stuff), and I asked them to re-swipe. Apparently people don't know that you have to wait for the computer to accept your payment.

Anyhow, that could be a rant in itself haha. I get what you mean though, people are very rude and don't seem to ever value the effort put in by other people anymore. Makes me angry, because some nice people get screwed over when they don't deserve to :/
