It is just like a License Key it is only for use by the person that bought it maybe i am wrong but I know for a fact that Purge GTA menu does this. Go ask the IRC

Thanks alot it wouldhave sucked to get screwed out of an extra $500

You really think they wouldn't notice a console moved states within a couple of days and I am sure there are other ways they would know they closely monitor these types of things I sold my RGH awhile back it had 20-25 days left,I dont remember, and they disabled it which I knew they would do and is fine because it is like a product key in terms it is only for the person that bought it.
