I have a trust fund for the school. It has plenty of it for school. I just took out 5000$ to pay off my vehicle loan. Theirs still more than enough to finish school but I just feel guilty. I think it was a smart move financially due to paying 350$/mo on the vehicle until next December in 2018. Now, I will have that extra money for bills and to be less stressed. It will go on my taxes as "Something" ( can't remember what it was called ) but only of the value - 700$ so I won't even get hit hard....just feel guilty for some reason

If it's making you feel less stressed then it'll be helping you concentrate on your school work so really it will be helping you out with school.

Yes true. I don't know why I feel so guilty.. I can do whatever I want with it. And I use it for school which is good. Just wanted a break I suppose

In reality if it was your choice to pay it off so it was financially less stressful on yourself, don't worry about it. It's what's helping you in the long run.

If you have enough to cover your school, There is no reason to feel guilty.

If you were to take out the money that is for school and go blow it on an Xbox, 10 games, A bunch of clothes and random stuff, Then there is something to feel guilty about. Lol

Deleted the useful tip since it was down voted. Spell how you want my friend!. Lol

If the school didn't raise enough money and you still took it, you should feel bad. But you raised extra money and put it towards something useful. In this case, your car. Don't feel bad it was a good choice

I know how you feel. Anytime I make a large purchase I get a similar feeling. I always tell myself there was something better I could have done with that money
