My iphone juat randomly went into "headphone mode" causing the phone to not have any sounds outside of plugging in headphones.
I tried cleaning my headphone port and blowing into it to get dust out. I did fet out some "gooey" black stuff that was jammed inside it at first causing my headphones to not plug all the way in. After i got it out they plugged in fine and work. But the phone is still in "headphone mode".
I have literally tried everything from plugging in/removing headphones at least 50 times to the q tip trick. When i play ringtones or call myself with speaker on it plays and says "ringer" but afterwards it returns to "headphone mode".
Any help would be appreciated because i am really not looking forward to having to get a new 6s plus after only having this one for 2 months.
P.S. I also have not dropped the phone or introduced it to ANY water.

This is a pretty obvious thing, but have you tried restarting the phone ?
