So, I'm drunk right now and I ended up breaking my phone and the screen is unresponsive and doesn't work.

Just thought I'd rant about how dear phones cost, honestly its a joke. For me to purchase a new phone it will cost me at least £250-£700 which in my point of view is an absolute disgrace.

It will also cost me around £30-£50 to replace the screen I have which probably won't last me long lmao.

Think phones should be cheaper these days considering they are basically essential items in everyone's daily life

phone marketing is fairly priced in terms of android at least. With apple it takes $250 to manufacture the phone, and along with some Motorola, and Samsung phones it is the same, they need some profit of origin i can understand a $200-400 range because that is profit in terms of the device needed.

Apple is upwards to $500 or more for a phone that costs a fraction or half to make.

With the Canadian Dollar being so high, it could possibly even be more expensive here. The thing is the companies know that consumers want a phone considering how tech based the world currently is. Sadly, I fall into this category. I feel naked without my phone which sucks, I honestly look up to people who can live without it, without social media. With that being said, their profit margins make them a pretty penny.

Where exactly do you go to buy a phone? You can buy an iPhone 5c for like $175 CAD on ebay. & why didn't you have a case on your phone? Invest another $10 into a Phone case and you won't have to buy another..
