I can tell getting that shading done must've hurt lol.
Did u do it all in one or did u do the outline first and then went back to fill it in?

It really is dependent on the person as you said. The only place where a tattoo started to bother me was my elbow and that was mostly because I was personally bending my arm all sorts of weird angles for him to get a better position to tattoo. My inner forearm, wrist and even inner elbow didn't hurt at all, it was more annoying because it felt like cat scratches. Once I get my full sleeve and take on the inner bicep and tricep, then I'll see how that feels.
OP: I like the text on it, but the line work for the buildings seems a little too dark/bulky while the actual buildings itself seems really thin with some of the black inside the buildings not blending too well with the line work; kind of overlapping each other. That could be because it's a brand new tattoo and it needs to settle first or it may just be a design choice. Either way, it's your tattoo so as long as you're happy with it, then it doesn't matter what others say.
