So I have a question, well I actually have a few. Ive been thinking on buying a raspberry pi for quiet sometime now but I want to know if there worth it? I do plan on Using it for Kodi and have a separate SD Card for Kali Linux. Now we all remember those days when we could DDoS People on Xbox Live grabbing their IPs with Kain&Abel. Now I'm older (21 To Be Exact )and have my Associates in Design, I want to teach my self a new skill. While learning to HACK Is a bit of a big world, I want to learn the basics onto penetrate a network, Jam Wifi, grab ips at coffee shops, Hack into peoples phones, Just really play around. I binged watched Mr Robot and now I'm dying to try it out. I have been playing with Kali through Virtual Box and I seems hard at first but I'm up to learning a new skill. Now heres my questions?!?

Is a Rasberry Pi 3 Able to work as a decent, Fast, Kali Lunix Machine?

Can I run a Rasberry Pi through USB 3.1 Power from my PC?

Whats better for Kodi, RasPi or Firestick?

Is Kali Linux hard to learn?!?

Kali Linux is just the base framework, you can't really learn it, you more learn the tools.

That being said, some of the bigger tools, ie Network Reconnaissance will take a while depending on the scans you are running due to the PI being a very portable machine and having a relatively low processing power, however that doesn't mean it won't be "effective" they are quite nifty things. Additionally, I would suggest you don't try and learn the basics of so many different things, ie. Network penetration and hacking into somebodies phone (which alone is very hard if it is a newer model).

A RPI 3 can run through USB power but make sure it does get enough power, you will notice a small multicolored box at the top right if it isn't. I would also try learning a language such as Python on it, a few tools are made with it and it is a fairly easy one to get you going. PI comes with Python too.

Overall I would suggest you get one, the price to portability/use is totally worth it. I own one and love it, all be it I don't use it too much as I am always at my desktop the majority of time.
