Okay I've had this account for not so long right but I've been been an active TTG Member since I've been about 14, I'm now 19 and I can remember only certain people got stickied posts like if they were trusted and stuff.
Now you can pay to have your post stickied? When did this change and why? It meant not just anybody could get their post stickied?
I know it's just to make money for the site etc and yeah that's a good idea but it was kinda like an achievement for some, like worked to get to that stage (Highly Trusted) What you guys think?

It changed two years ago, and it's only in a few forums. For the longest time too only one user had a sticky for call of duty and GTA, now other users get a chance at that sort of recognition and have a chance to earn some income as well.

Should of stayed the way it was. I worked my ass off to earn it. And still do today. Hard work pays off.

as Savitar said is true, but think about it... Money keeps the site going, although if you think about it no one will really spend the money to get banned, considering most services don't even go over what they have, so scamming would result in a ban, and lose of money.. although I understand and agree with what you say.

Yeah, multiple TTG accounts arnt allowed.
I lurked around for ages without an account. Probably did that.
As for the stickies, I think it sucks you have to pay. Especially when the prices aren't exactly cheap.
I reckon it would be an achievement if you got your thread stickied.

Stickies, Gold membership & Advertisement is what keeps the site alive.
No doubt Sean has invested from own pocket for the site, no harm in getting a little back.

You could pay to have a stickied thread a long time ago as well, I know because I bought it back when MW2 modding first blew up.
