Dota 2 Kiev major.
All the qualifiers are done. Open and invited. 16 teams. 8 invited and 8 qualified are to compete for a prize pool of $3,000,000usd. First place $1,000,000. Last place $62,500
Start Date: 2017-04-27
End Date: 2017-04-30
The Kiev major is one of 4 yearly majors sponsored by valve. 3 of which have a prize pool of $3,000,000 while the last one "The International" which has an initial prize pool of $1,600,000usd and the rest being crowd funded by the community. Last year the prize pool was $20,000,000 with $9,100,000 for first place.
If you are interested in MOBA genre games and esports in general I suggest checking in for this one or watching some games from the older Majors. Though note, the game has had a massive update since the last major. Actually it went from 6.xx to 7.xx and is one of the biggest updates to the game. Adding a lot of new features, a new hud, a brand new hero that wasn't in dota 1 and new mechanics. Also massive map changes.
