Ok so a while back I had posted on here with my SanDisk 240gb but I ended up returning it pissed because I couldn't get windows 10 on it and off my original HDD. So now I bought a SanDisk SSD ultra 2 480gb. I currently have it in and everything still unallocated. But I went directly into boot up and formatted my old HDD(had windows 10 on it don't mind losing the other stuff). And now I put windows 10 on my UNALLOCATED SSD since it wouldn't pop up in disk management but did in bios. I'm just making sure I'm doing everything right windows said that the drive was unallocated and that it would fix that before installing.

Got it all figured out and my PC is now running Windows 10 off the SSD and I'm reinstalling my games GeForce experience afterburner ECT. But why are my write speeds not what they say they are? I go into task manager and I average about 5mb/s to 15mb/s write speed and read speed about 1mb/s to 5mb/s. And this is currently while I'm installing rainbow six siege to my PC.

If you're downloading them you're only going to be able to go as fast as your internet speed will allow

True very true and my download speed on steam says 3.5mb/a peak and usually holds that speed sometimes it dips lower but not much. I probably should have transferred my games from my HDD to SSD before I formatted it but I have nothing major on my PC I only use it to surf the web and game. I don't do pictures or any editing.
