Crazy how this has turned into a 10 page thread in three hours.
I'd personally just say American football and football. That way both sides are happy. Normal football was created a long time before American football, so by default it should be called football and because American football is another version of normal football, it makes sense to call it American football.

I'd personally just say American football and football. That way both sides are happy. lol you're not the only one baffled by this. From what was a bit of friendly banter in the SB has turned into a full on rant. But, it needed to be done by poll
We know it basically goes down to either being from US or UK. But football is UK football
"American football" is either NFL or Handegg.

There's 4 quarters & 15 per quarter
So thats 60 minutes
If its a fair game each 1st string player should get 30 in game minutes of playing time when you give about 30 mins for offense and defense.
So idk where you got 20 from
