So I just wanted to get some advice on these different speeds on Ram.

I game at 1080p also sometime a little bit of Photoshop work at times.

There's a good £30 discount on the 2666Mhz ram right now that's why I'm asking really.

Honestly I'd just get the 2666 as it will perform perfectly.

Edit: I guess it also depends on what CPU etc you have

little to none, it is a ~0.0001 of a difference, APU's tend to take more ram hence prebuilt systems with APUs and no GPUs tend to have more ram.

But in a modern build let's say i5-i7, ram makes little to no noticeable difference unless you are extremely pinpoint precise in vision and feel. Not every game and application benefit from more ram.

What do you mean by "more efficient"? Perform better? It depends what games you're playing. I hear stuff like H1Z1 heavily favours faster RAM. That being said, 3000MHz is in no way worth £30 more than a 2666MHz kit.

Some titles, usually poorly optimised games favour faster RAM, but it's not worth the £30 premium for the 3000MHz kit. The standard for DDR4 is 2133 so the 2666MHz will be plenty fast anyway.
