This forum is to debate whether UCLAs Lonzo Ball will be better than the Golden States all famous Stephen Curry. Personally, I don't see why Stephen Curry is so popular, I mean he is a good team player, can shoot, and has decent handles but If I was to compare him to someone else in the NBA I would compare him to Pheonix's Devin Booker. Lonzo Ball, on the other hand, is an amazing player as well as his brothers. Lonzo has a lot of potential to become the NBAs next biggest thing over Steph Curry if he executes what he has been showing us at UCLA. Discuss your opinions down below and what your reasoning is for your opinion. DISCUSS BELOW!

Curry is so good and valuable because once he's at half court he's a threat. He spreads the defense like how normal people spread butter on toast. Because people play up on him and his team he has lanes to cut and his finishing ability is fantastic. Will Lonzo Ball be better then Curry once he gets into the league? No, but anything can happen beyond that and being better than a two time MVP GOAT 3pt shooter is a tough challenge.

Im not sure why people compare to Stephen Curry. He is an excellent shooter but his defense lacks. I would compare to russell or someone who is better all around. Lonzo ball is an excellent player regardless of his shot style(Atleast he found an accurate way to shoot with longer arms, good for him). Will lonzo ball be good in the NBA? Well a lot of people are good in college sports but that doesn't mean they can compete at the pro level. He will have a lot of proving to do and he will have a lot of good competition to fight against!

honestly, in my opinion, you cant even compare the two. they're two completely different play styles. Steph of course is a shooter, and Lonzo is a pass first guard. if we were to compare him to somebody, id compare him to rajon rondo in his early days. Or even steve nash at that matter, he can shoot dont get me wrong, but his first look is to always pass the ball and set up a teammate first

Lavar Ball, Lonzo's dad is living through his sons. He's just out here saying these crazy things to get them more attention. Lamelo is a great athlete was Lavar is out here comparing his son to a 2x MVP.

Absolutely not, I think he'll be a great NBA player but there's no way he'll go down as better than one of the best shooters of all time
