I'm 16 and used to smoke but I got a ecig and haven't smoked in like 3-4 months now. I believe it really does help but i can't stand the people who do it just to show off

You do realize they add thousands of chemicals in tobacco? It's not just a plant. E-Liquid you can count them with your fingers. It's widely accepted it's better for you than smoking. Inhaling the air outside can give you cancer, the chances of you getting it is rarer like vaping over smoking.

What are you on about? Clearly not. I would say they buy a vape to act "cool" I have a vapour to enjoy the flavours funny enough. NOT to act cool. It's like saying "I'm going to buy cigs to act cool"

lmao because imo, you look like a tool. Most people vape just to look cool, but then again, I can say the same about cigs.

Vaping is healthier, but it's still not healthy. I'm not sure why people think it is.

Perhaps this stigma is something which is only prevalent in the US. I work in an office environment in the UK and a number of the people I work with vape.
I have never heard anyone be called gay or a show off because of it.

Maybe it's just because the people I work with are all over the age of 18 and have hit maturity.

I believe that most people hate vaping because of how they show off their vape(s) such as blowing "O's" and do other cool tricks with their smoke. Others hate it because of how hipster society made vaping and where it's at today. In my opinion, I just do not understand why vape in general. I understand that it is supposed to help you reduce your intake on nicotine and stay away from the "cancer sticks" known as cigarettes. What I do not understand is if you're going to quit smoking, then quit hard turkey. Don't smoke anything such as tobacco, marijuana, crack if I care. The purpose of quitting the drug is to get rid of that psychological process of wanting to smoke anything. If you believe that you want to take it slow and/or just quit cigarettes, in my opinion, I would rather just smoke pot. I would rather get high and enjoy life rather than tasting lab based oils and not enjoy it. If I am going to enjoy smoking, I might as well get high with it because everything is better high. I just don't see the satisfying result of smoking vapes. I do understand that you can get THC oil based vapes but it's not the same comparing to a nice joint. Plus if you're trying to get that, you might as well get weed.

I dont think its that easy to just stop smoking all of the sudden. You would start going through withdrawal
