i think to access the forums on thetechgame you should be registered, due to people just getting in my lobbies without posting gamertag and legit, not even a thank you, just an idea of mine

Unfortunately, it won't change. It's how you gain members to the site. For example,
If you visited a site and went to the forums and weren't able to access it. Would you sign up? No right? How do you know what the benefits of becoming a member are or what the forum has to offer your needs. You'd like to test the merchandise before you buy right? Figuratively speaking.

They wouldn't gain members from this. They already gain members by making you register to post.
If someone comes to view the forums for the first time and is denied access and forced to sign up just to see them, they would more than likely just leave. At least that's what I'd do. Just make people comment their GT to join your lobby to fix your issue.

I can see where the frustration is coming from, maybe give non-account users a "limited" amount of posts they can view and after that they must register to view more.

i get what use are all saying but i think different when it comes to people posting legit and stuff for lobbies etc.

Back in the Mw2 days I required you to message me for an invite to a lobby, the message had to contain their username and their post number on the post.
The post it's self just had to say the gamertag of the person, so someone had to post then message me for an invite but yes this problem always persists w/ people asking for invites.
I don't think you should need to sign up to see the forums but maybe if things were hidden by a spoiler
maybe you should have to be registered in order to view what's under the spoil.
Or turn the popular sections like cod modded lobbies into just a members only section, idk this is hard to stop I agree it's annoying I could see how this could make numbers go up but I see how it could send numbers down so it's a two way battle that'll probably never change in your favor.

I would just make them post there GT, and only invite them. Don't give them your GT.
