Sean wrote TTG has crossed over 5 Million downloads served! it's pretty impressive since we only created the downloads area to help clean up the forums and ensure clean downloads as a result of this by total accident we've become the biggest gaming resource website for console gaming.

Is it cost effective to host? absolutely not! but its really cool we have it.

Quick stats
5,003,542 Downloads served
14,700 Downloads
33,330,000 Views
23.81 TB of bandwidth used

To highlight the undertaking all 14,700 downloads submitted were hand checked by staff before being pushed to our servers its an incredibly slow process that number does not reflect the 100's of rejected downloads.

Chubz, RedJ, Suhpose, hippie and myself are the ones who cleared 99% of the all the current downloads but I just want to highlight that Chubz was the one who checked and approved a good 70% of them since that was his full time admin role up until his death in 2013 the area was his baby and I'm glad we've been able to keep it on top of it.

As I write this we've finally been able to get the pending list down to 0 I have a challenge for those who may want to start submitting! we're trying the best we can to start building up a database of older consoles see here

Downloads/cid=106/retro-downloads.html
Xbox
Dreamcast
PS1
PS2
Sega Saturn
SNES
NES
GameCube
GameBoy
Sega Mega Drive

We're looking to fill out older consoles the things we want:
Gamesaves/savestates
Homebrew
Mods/tools

We can't accept ROM's

Myself and Suhpose and a few members have got off to a good start but if any of you want to help that would be sweet.

Thanks to everyone that's submitted over the years and a big one to Brigand who has overtaken me on submissions

Skates wrote Lmao as I'm sitting here submitting downloads.
Add PSP to retros cause I got some to submit, no idea how relevant PSPs are these days but yea just a thought.

We don't care how relevant things are if 1 person finds it useful then its worth being in our database.

Amazing achievement. Thank you guys for all your time spent hand checking every single submission.

I'll try my best to submit downloads and add on to the massive amount we already have.

That's a pretty cool achievement.

Will there be a new badge to celebrate this? Maybe like the v5 launch badge where you only have 1 chance to get it, would be quite cool plus I want more badges

Congrats on the huge milestone.

Been around for a few years now, great to see how far it has come.

Thanks to all the staff for all the hard work they do behind the scenes.

People still do we've seen huge spikes in downloads for titles that end up on the Xbox one backwards list people just mod their saves and upload it to the cloud on the 360 so they can move the modded save across the Xbox one.

I think a large portion of new members tend to use the downloads section, most actually it seems like. Following the shut down of game tuts last year (I think, maybe 2015?) our downloads section is my go to spot for 360 saves. It's pretty nice and a lot of saves for the same game which is convenient.
