Hey TTG Viewers. I'm sure none of you know me but i decided to share this story with you guys. I recently built a new pc over the past thanksgiving. Ive had a shitty pc most of my pc gaming career and to finally being able to play all those high end games has made me enjoy pc gaming in all the best ways. Now being able to run these games i decided to take my dreams onto the landscape of twitch.tv. I've always loved the thought of sharing my passion of gaming with others. Ive spent over 10 hours doing graphics and coding and making my stream look unique. I started streaming H1Z1 KotK because I've always loved those types of games. After many attempts of advertising my stream and trying to get a viewer base. January 16th I got my first donation. I was so thrilled! Thinking someone actually took their money and decided to donate some to me to buy a starting webcam. it was a $30 donation. After that I decided to allow the guy to play H1Z1 with me and my friends. He joined our discord and then I figured out it was a 15 yr old kid. He told me his family had money so he was just trying to help me out. Yesterday the kid asked me if i bought the camera yet. I said no I havent. This kid then decided to refund the money, telling paypal that someone make the transaction without his consent. I tried getting his attention VIA steam and Discord PM. These were his responses.

Its sad this is what our community consists of. Thanks for listening if you decided to read all of this. I hope there is actually good people out there

Hey dude, don't let this kid ruin your dreams. You said it's a passion of yours to stream and provide gameplay you enjoy to other people. Don't let one person ruin that for you, that's exactly what he wants. I hope for the best and hope your account gets fixed. Good luck!

Don't give up you should stick with it I understand there is people who will do this, but you should just try get the money back by contacting paypal, other streamers have done this when money has been refunded. If you explain to paypal I'm sure they can look into it.. It's just an easy way for people to get their money back by saying someone else made that payment. But don't give up! If you love doing this keep playing it, just remember Twitch has many of trolls who want to ruin peoples experience, it's never worth giving up over, don't let them win!

I've had this happen to me before a couple times, its really annoying and paypal can't do nothing about they will end up giving the money back to the sender its really stupid.

i pretty much stopped streaming cause of my pc and let me tell you this when i streamed i got people saying i am gay and stuff like that and saying i look/sound high everytime i streamed(this one is quite funny really) just dont let it get to you just ban the kids in your channel thats all this was all done through donations mind you well not the stoner part but the gay stuff was

yeah people just love to troll thats why when you get trolls that donate take it out of paypal as fast as you can so they cant get a refund unless paypal talks to your bank but its better to remove any donations from paypal, dont worry im sure others will be kind and donate just takes time.

just remember these are donations its people giving you free money. Its definitely scummy but its not like youre being scammed or cheated. Dont give up.

Don't even front man, people charge back all the time. Its just one of those things you'll have to deal with as a streamer. Keep streaming my dude.
