So while I got positive feedback on my other Build, I'm starting to wonder about getting a pre-build(I probably offended like half this section but hear me out haha) [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] since I'm currently at school and slammed with revision etc I'm thinking it could be easier to get a pre-built considering it would be ready to go once i get it plus it has a warranty etc.
If someone could have a look and possibly see if it's worth the premium for the decrease in wor+if it's over priced I'd be thankful.
Cheers

I mean your always gonna be paying a premium for prebuilt, but its not too bad, the only thing i would change if i were you would be the cooler, opt for the dark rock 3, because the cooler you had equipped isn't too good

Hey GT40. That's the default Build by itself, no upgrades etc. I wanted to leave it like that to see if people thought it's worth the price. If you have any suggestions it would help greatly.

You're paying about £300 more than the parts are worth. Also I'd argue that building yourself would be quicker than a pre-built. Definitely a waste of money IMO.

Adding onto what 13 said about your pre-built taking more time; at the bottom it says build time 5 working days. Now that is just without adding anything to it, so no clue if that will be changed or not.

Estimated 5 Working Days - Your 3XS system will be built and intensively tested, we aim to have it ready for dispatch within 5 working days.

So 5 working days for it to be built and tested and then shipped; however that doesn't include shipping time. You can be waiting an extra 2-3+ working days just to get the build when you can buy your parts for cheaper than you would a pre-built, have everything within roughly 4-6 days, maybe earlier and then spend a few hours building it yourself.

Ah, good point I didn't see that TaigaAisaka. I'll most likely build it myself then. Thanks

I would go with this, a little bit higher then your original budget, if you wanna save some money drop down the SSD to crucial 275GB version and/or switch some of the peripherals
