So I revisited an old fifth gear video which shows methods of bringing lost engine power back by performing some basic maintenance.
The fuel additive had the biggest improvement and I just want to have some other opinions on it. Have you ever tested fuel cleaners?

Gas already has fuel cleaners, so unless I had a carbonated motor or a performance motor I wouldn't use fuel additives. The only acception to that is with a diesel engine. If there is low fuel pressure, that can damage your injectors. If I felt the vehicle had less power than new, I'd do an oil change, fuel filter change, air filter change, and a tune up. I've just never liked the idea of dumping anything other than fuel in the fuel tank.

Fuel additives and cleaners are probably one of the biggest scams out there.
