One of them nice new Pentiums with hyper threading. Solid budget case and PSU. I'd spend the extra $20 for the 240GB SP550 instead of the 120GB. Entry level GPU, GTX 1050 as an alternative if you want. When you buy the motherboard from Newegg, you'll have to ask them to update the BIOS to one that supports Kaby Lake CPUs, once the update is available(not sure if they're out yet).

Best you'll do for the budget really. The new Pentium G4560 is a dual core but has hyperthreading now and a decent clock speed of 3.5GHz so it'll handle editing/rendering.

Alternatively;

Skylake i5, but no discrete GPU and the i5 iGPU isn't going to be doing much gaming so you'd want to add something like an RX 460 or GTX 1050(at least) to this if you're gaming. You also need to sacrifice on PSU quality with the i5 to get it close to budget.

Pentium and RX 460. You're going to want the RX 460 if you're doing any gaming. i5 would be better for editing/rendering, but the Pentium will handle it fine.

The i5 will be better than the Pentium for gaming and editing/rendering, but with the Pentium you have the RX 460, the i5's iGPU isn't going to handle gaming well at all.

i5>Pentium
i5 + RX 460>Pentium + RX 460
RX 460>iGPU
Pentium + RX 460>i5 iGPU(for gaming)
i5 iGPU>Pentium + RX 460(for editing/rendering)
