The problem you have with him is not really what car he has, but more how he drove that car. I agree but some people are just lucky in life. He certainly should not be recklessly driving expensive cars around, or any cars for that matter though.

The way I see it, the parents are setting their kids up for failure. You and I grew up with not new cars so we probably had to do some work to them. This doesn't make us mechanics, but it means we can change our own tires when we get a flat instead of calling a tow truck. It works out because it gives people jobs doing easy stuff.

The sucky part is in 20 years when we go buy their used car, we get a hunk of crap because they didn't buy it so they probably didn't appreciate it enough to take care of it.

Take it from here Ricky!!!

Can't stand this either. My starter car which I still have (it's been 2+ years) is a 1999 Buick Century.

I see where you're coming from, it's the same way in my city, these 18 and 19 year olds all have $90k+ cars that were bought by their parents, I had to buy evenrthing that I own to this point, it's pathetic that parents just spoil their kids like that

I hate family's like that I'm glad I wasn't raised like that everything I've wanted I've bought my self that I knew my mom couldn't afford or wouldn't spend her money on it. I'm 17 right now and I have had a job since I was 14 and I just recently purchased my first car and it honestly feels amazing to pay for you own car

i dont agree, i think if someone has worked hard to earn wealth they should be able to share it with their kids. now i think they should control it but if they want their kids driving a nicer car. which nicer more expensive cars tend to be some of the following. safer/more reliable etc. but i dont think they should just let them have free reign but i think its not a problem to let them have something nice when the parents worked for the wealth why not share it and let it help the family live better.

i just dont g et why noone can have it easier. like it seems everyone just says omg spoiled like its not liek you're making a valid point all i see is people jealous of people having it easier. ever think of how they might have been before the parents worked hard for the wealth? id share it too. id have more control on them but i wouldnt just make them work hard when the parents are living easy now. i agree he was a dick but i dont agree with everyone just upset they have it easier because you have to remember someone worked for the wealth they have. the kids should still work etc but its not wrong they have nice things because parents are supposed to provide and when their in a better financial position theyll want to provide nicer things it makes a parent feel better and feel like their doing good when they make their kids happy and life good. when you're a parent and you cant buy something for your kid wether it be a car or a nice game console it feels bad. so i think the kid may be overly spoiled and acting like a brat but i just dont get why nobody can be happy for someone having it easier. sorry for sounding lke an ass

Ok but had the kid not been in a porsche would you have been so upset to give him a ticket off duty? I get cut off and shit all the time. It happens, the money obviously wont affect him and id guess he can beat it and fight it in court. I worked hard for my car and get annoyed by the braggers who were given the car, but what are you gonna do? Its life dude.
Another thing is why did you feel the need to "Show off" your badge?

This brings me back to when I was stationed in florida..

Yes, I can fully agree with the whole rant.

Florida was flooded with this 24/7 and there was no end, there were at least 3 wrecks a week going interstate wise. Keep in mind my experience was similar except I eventually got used to the shitty driving habits there, even in maryland it was bad, just as much traffic if not more due to Andrews being right beside the airport basically I had a shitty time trying to get out from the gates.

In the end kids are spoiled, let the brats drive around until something life threatening happens, surely "mommy/daddy" can't fix that.

Soak wrote So what lol

If their parents have the money let them live their life my g, sounds like a lot of jealousy
I totally agree with this, if they have money why not? If your parents had that kind of money they would be doing the same!!

My dad bought me a 5,000 car. I'm a spoiled brat.
