People are only gonna pay for quality, I'd take the time to learn as much as you can before you start expecting to bring in some income.

I would personally say that you shouldn't even consider money at the start and if you do then this is not really cut out for you, what you need to do is practice making different things until you get to a sellable standard of work and at that point you can start earning. I wish you luck though and I will try some of your work when you get started fully.

Oh for sure, I'm not going to be charging for graphics any time soon. Or at all for that matter. Just wanna learn how to do them first.

And how to possibly get Photoshop for free

Ghew wrote I use photoshop, legally, and it's great and fully worth the money but only if you have the money to spare or are going to make money back. I currently pay £17.15 a month and it's well worth it.
oh awesome! Is it easy to make money with photoshop or no?

Do not count on making money as a designer.
Especially if you are just starting.

I know, I've stated a couple times I don't plan on charging for graphics any time soon.
