I miss how it use to be, but times have changed and you just have to roll with it. Personally, I love the site.

Snerble wrote ive sold accounts, jtags, modded controllers, hacks, lobbies, everything on this site back then. I cant do recovery services for games? cant sell modded consoles?

It's been a while, but from what I remember, you needed explicit staff permission to do any of those things you have listed there... Either that or you needed to be a trusted seller.

Unless we're talking mw2 days where everyone was charging for lobbies?

With the amount of time I spent on this site, both staff and normal member, I don't remember any of the things listed being allowed (again, unless you had permission for it)

Things have changed for good reason however I think. This is more of a community than what the site was when it first started, and I honestly prefer it to the days I first joined in a sense. Too many people scammed others, and there were definitely rules set in place even back then to host lobbies or sell consoles. I know I paid well over $100 several years ago to have an official lobby sticky for a few days and you needed admin/mod proof if I remember correctly even then. There just trying to protect members from being scammed out of money which I'm perfectly fine with.

These aren't 'wack ass rules'. The rules are there to protect you.

It prevents scamming, and since staff cannot moderate every single person on this site (remember there are two million members). Thats why precautions are taken to stop things like scamming from taking place.

I hope you soon enough understand this. The rules aren't created because staff felt like doing it. Its because its needed with the amount of scamming that used to happen.

Only thing I dislike is that Mini-Modding is no longer against the rules

Wait.... what? You're saying because this site has changed and there's hardly no modded lobbys etc... you dislike this site? Well you know where the log out button is. If you don't like the site just leave this site. This site has to have change otherwise it's going to be boring.

they are really strict about the rules but i feel like they did that to try and avoid all the people that were trying to scam on this site.. there trying to protect all the people here in my opinion but i also get what u are saying since i have warnings giving to me about not being a legit hoster because i wasnt inviting people fast enough or got off for the night

did someone piss in your cereal today?

Things change all of the time and there is no doubt about that. Sure you sold shit in the past it is time to adapt to the new and quit **** complaining about that.

also you don't look like you were super active with your barely under 40 posts. So I don't see why you're ranting you likely did not provide any proof whatsoever of you modding and or being able to mod.

topics usually get shut down to that, next time try NOT charging on the start, without proof or staff approval.

sub rant over.

Kieran,

You're actually so wrong it hurts.

Sean pulled JTags and RGH's from the site because advertisers were going to pull their ads from the site as well as google which would stop Sean from making [a percentage of] money off the site. It was done for monetary gain, not because of 12 year olds getting scammed.

You should probably speak with some of the admins about why Sean did what he did before spreading your dumb-assery.
