I have been wanting DJ Decks for some time now, i have finally found a deck that is affordable and i know the brand is of top quality.

It is called the Pioneer - DDJ-RB.

Here is a link: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

The price is really good (£219), and for someone who has always wanted to start DJing, I feel this would be a great platform for me to begin doing what i want to do.

Have any of you guys had this? If so, what are your thoughts on the piece of equipment?

If not, i would still love to hear what you guys have to say about it!

Thanks!

Those look pretty sick.
I remember this dude that DJ'd a party I went too sold some bunk to these kids and they ended up fighting.
DJ got his ass beat and pretty much mobbed and ran out of the party.
So I copped his turn tables and fcked with it a bit but never got into it lmao.

Yea back at my moms place somewhere, I moved out about 9 months ago.
They were pretty trash though tbh, very low grade.

They look nice man, I've been wanting to get into Djing my self, I have been researching etc for about a year now so I've gained knowledge and used friends do controller but have never came round to buying one.

I would say these look nice (These are all pioneer)

DDJ-SB

DDJ-SR

DDJ-SX ~ This one would easily be my favourite by far, I'm saving up to purchase this one myself now it looks neat and using it seems very easy to get used to as well as doing so insane mixing.

PM Me if you wanted help looking in shops for some or any information on them and suggestions for other controllers.

I have currently started learning myself. Started a few months back now. I invested in to the DDJ-SB2. I thought this was a great starting platform, and plan to upgrade in a year or so.

Remember, although you buy the controller itself, thats not the final cost. You'll have to consider software. I use Serato - this cost me £80 for the full licence.

After that, you'll have to remember to buy a splitter that you're controller will need (RCA cable.

A laptop stand, otherwise you'll realise its fairly hard to use your laptop while mixing.

A deck stand.

And speakers.

Having considered all of these things, make sure you're 100% committed to doing this as its a real expense for something you're not really interested in.
