According to reports, the drops will only have cosmetic items and all items in that can be earned in drops can also be earned via challenges for those that do not want to open the drops.
Its available in the Depot in Modern Warfare Remastered. The Drops can be unlocked with Call of Duty Points and with Depot Credits (which are earned through playtime).
Modern Warfare Remastered also has Parts, which is MWRs version of Infinite Warfares Salvage. The Parts can be used to get Weapon Kits and other items that are in Supply Drops. In addition, there are new weapon kits in the game.
Todays customization update is called Operation Arctic Wolf, and brings with it weapon camos, reticles, combat uniforms, emblems, calling cards, and more. In addition, theres now female soldiers in game.

If the supply drops only give you customization mods in game then i don't mind that. If i get killed by a god damn nun-chuck or brass knuckles or something stupid i will bring my game to the range and shoot the shit out of it

We will only put cosmetic items in supply drops... Then they added 30+ DLC weapons.
Weapon kits look cool, they won't bother me.
6 melee weapons, wtf? And you can run around like a headless chicken with them...
Character customization will be cool if it is modern war themed outfits

Im pretty sure this means RIP COD for me..
Call of Duty 4 was the best FPS ever made and they are slowly killing it for a couple more bucks..

Honestly don't care. I've been playing this game for 9 years so I actually don't mind change but it aint gonna bother me. I have more things to worry about than swords and supply drops in cod4.

They've just ruined COD 4. Added them in because they know no one is playing Infinite Warfare to make them money. TBH if they added camos in, I wouldn't mind but if they added in unrealistic weapons then I would have a problem

Absolutely trash, they bring back an old, good CoD, but then ruin it. It's ashame how money hungry they are

It's not even a big deal why are you all whining? I've played cod4 since day one from its original launch all they've added are some new camos and weapon kits which by the way some of them look damn fxking dope! Knives arnt even bad have you seen how long they take to pull out? And if you can't kill a person before he runs and whacks you with his broken bottle you shouldn't be playing the normal knife lunges 40stepe forward anyway same as it always has.
