Re-wired the front room and dusted off the old wii.
It plays backups from disk and has the home-brew channel but beyond that I cant remember much else.
Would be ideal if I could plug a 250GB USB drive in the back and boot ISOs/rips as the originals are all looking a bit toast and so I would appreciate some tips on getting it up to date as possible in terms of latest versions of OS? homebrew channel? some sort of USB loader?
Its ideal for the youngest to play on

Can you really not afford games for wii? The most expensive wii game at cex (second hand game store) is like £5... Dont bother pirating them

He's right, games are stupid cheap. If you get a used game it's next to nothing.

At what point did I say I wanted to pirate something.
Yes I can afford games, I have a good 40+ games already and just dont fancy going out and buying them all again because these are mashed up. I have them all backed up as ISO.
If someone would like to post something remotely helpful that would be good.

It was £15 in game a few days ago I was considering getting one but I didn't really see any good games for it.

I used to play COD on the Wii it was pretty fun however I sold it awhile ago.

you can add external hard drive to your wii if its running homebrew and it will work

I only use mine to run emulators, it's always fun playing the mario games for the nintendo 64
