Heres a build that will get you what you want for that price but I recommend an i5 or i7 System as you will get more time out of the system. i7-6700k Will easily last you 3 or 4 years with a 1060 6gb

Not a chance. Graphics cards really eat up budget

Edit: Actually if you can find a GTX 970 Under $200, They you will be golden there and will have room for an i5 With maybe a little over 600

At least this one is the right currency. That PSU and case make no sense though. You can get better options for very similar prices. 120GB SSDs are not a good choice. A 240GB SSD only costs 50% more. No idea why you'd recommend spending more than half the budget on CPU and motherboard.

I only did that build with the i5 and the mobo cos he said that he wanted to have a i5 build... and it was still in budget nearly with a 1050ti so i thought id let him see what he can get if he does want to go down the i5 path. Not much to it really... And btw ur using the exact same motherboard in the setup u quoted while calling the one i picked(the same one) overpriced. But whatever floats ur boat i suppose, the OP can now see the difference in builds and cpu's etc...

Kind regards

Well, it was £50 over budget actually. A locked i5 with a cheaper motherboard would be a wiser choice if he really needed an i5, but he doesn't.

I never once said anything was overpriced, at all. Don't put words in my mouth, thanks. I said there's no reason to spend more than half the budget on the CPU and motherboard. The Z170 motherboard would be fine if OP wanted to upgrade to an unlocked CPU in the future or do non-K overclocking with the i3, but if he's not interested in overclocking, then he could save £25+ on motherboard. If he was to go with an i5 though, to get it in budget, he'd have to get a cheaper motherboard. Like so;
