I work as a vitamin salesman for a small business.
This guy comes in looking for a product that I have never seen before.
It is a simple bottle with basic designs and no brand.
I called my boss, he said it was just an item that he didn't have room for on the shelves and to get it from the back.
I got it from the back, then sold it to the guy for $150.
Then I googled the product...
IT WAS AN ILLEGAL STEROID!

Honestly not your fault , you were just doing what your boss told you to do , i wouldn't sweat it , your boss would be held responsible

I'm pretty sure that if you were under the illusion that it was legal then you are perfectly fine. And may I ask, why did your boss have the steroids in the shop?

Now that you've done that, you can get in some trouble for not reporting it.
Just keep in mind if something happens to that guy, you'll be the first person or company they look too.

They're not even illegal in most countries and as long as you know what you're doing with them, they're perfectly safe.
Loads of shops sell steroids behind the counter, that's how the majority of people buy them since there's no money in selling vitamins. Don't feel guilty, if the guy doesn't know what he's doing then it's his own fault.

These were very illegal.
I did some research and they contained several banned substances.

In the first place if it's a dangerous steroid or to be set to be harmful the owner of your store doesn't be selling the product or even so have it in your store in the first place. Scary...
