Right guys,
I can't be the only one, but basically I hate it when they do special events on games over the weekends e.g Double xp weekend,
I work 12 hour shifts Saturday and Sunday so I always miss out on these double xp weekends, like modern warfare remastered just added, unfortuently I was unable to get any time into it to level up fast apart from today for a few hours,
Personally I think it's well unfair to people that have jobs/college/school or whatever over the weekend, they need to do. In week events such as this

Weekly double xp would be great since everyone would benefit from it but people would abuse the f*ck out of it and the majority of people have more free time on the weekend compared to weekdays. Would be cool to see double xp randomly happen on a specific day though instead of a weekend.

I RARELY play Xbox at the weekend.
For example the FUT weekend league i never play because i can't at the weekend.

Well the weekend is when alot of people have off, so it makes sense. I work on the weekends aswell but just because I work doesnt mean they should do free weekends and double exp.
Also lets be honest, game companies are really targeting teens USUALLY that dont do shit on weekends. Atleast on PC where you dont have to show any proof of age lol

It may be unfair to you, but that is when they reach their peak player count. Games like Call of Duty have a target audience of 10-18 years of age anyways really, despite the 18+ guideline

The weekend is when 95% of people have time off and its when these games have the most people logged on by far. Its completely fair and the best solution although it doesnt work out for you.

I suppose you are all right, obviously does make sense to have it on the weekend obviously, just very frustrating I wish they could at least extend the period, then again it would be abused like stated above,
Maybe add a feature where if you play so many hours over the weekend, you can get access to double xp in the week (if double xp was from Friday and followed through to Tuesday)

I understand where you're coming from but Treyarch can't change the time/date for you...for you to play the game with the double XP. You need to sort out your work if you truly wants to play the game with double XP. Yes I do understand it's annoying

They do it on the weekends thinking it would give people a better chance or atleast more people will be on and they usually do it from Friday throughout Sunday so if you can't do it one day you still have another day or two to get on and play a bit.
