My favorite shows which I highly recommend you watch if you haven't is Breaking Bad, Stranger Things and Mr Robot. Watch the trailers for them first though since they may not be your type of show, they are all highly rated and just brilliant.

My favorite movies that I highly recommend you watch are Interstellar, Shawshank Redemption and the Revenant.
