It's weird my parents are strict when it comes to the simplest of things like going out in the cold they would force me to have my phone, money, a key and two coats. But on stuff that we're supposed to be my own experiences like girls, alcohol drugs as long as I'm not getting addicted and only trying they think everyone should learn from their own mistakes...

Being 18 and all that, my parents believe I can make my own choices for the better. so they don't really care as to what I do etc. 2-10.

I lived with my mom for the most of my childhood she was super strict about literally everything then i got tired of coming home getting yelled at because there was a a few things on my floor getting grounded so when i turned 16 i just left said bye to my mom and went to live with my dad then after a while with living with my dad i moved back in with my mom then i had a great opportunity to finish school in another city so moved to that city with my aunt

And out of all the adults family members i lived with

My mom was the most strict growing up but now that I'm 20 she doesn't care what i do

My dad let me do whatever i wanted

And my aunt is in between

Had friends more than parents growing up, they never punished me let me do whatever I wanted and now I have some pretty rough habits.

If your parents are strict on you about school and staying away from drugs their just doing their job.

My parents have always been there looking out for me and trying to guide me to the proper choices in life, but they always let me make the final decision and whatever happens afterwards is my issue to deal with. They have always been understanding and fair, and with all that being said I would think that my parents are pretty chill and not strict.

My parents used to be strict when i was 12-13 as i got into trouble at school alot not serious just like talking and messing around but now my parents are pretty nice as i got B's and A's in my gcse's and im doing good at college
