I made an account about 7 or 8 years ago and I haven't played on it in about 5 years. I can't remeber the password and the email connected to it is wrong. I've tried recovering it but it gets denied everytime. the information given isn't that accurate as it's been 5 years since I last logged on. can anyone help?? I really wanna play on this account again but I can't remember all the information about the account:(

Well, if you're attempting to log-in for the first time on OSRS then your accounts stats will all be 1 and you will be on Tutorial Island as the stats do not carry over during first-time log-in. So I would just recommend starting over.

Well, honestly, there's nothing any of us could do to directly influence the recovery process of your account. However, I should point out that "OSRS" came out just a few years ago, so if you're account is truly as old as you claim it is, then there's no way for you to have any stats or items on "OSRS", as you have to start from scratch, regardless if you're maxed on RS3.

What i do each time I need to recover an account is I log on to all of my emails and search from any emails from jagex/runescape, as that gives me an idea of which email account corresponds to which account, plus lets me know when I bought membership, etc.

That's basically the most you can do. Keep looking through your emails, try to remember old passwords that you commonly used 8 years ago, places where you've lived, etc.

hope that helps a bit

cheers

If you made it 7 or 8 years ago, it should be a username not a email right?
