There is a distinction between not accepting the results and not accepting the winner.
Trump spread the idea that the election itself was rigged. These people just hate that he did win.

I suppose I have to clarify that I don't agree with the rioting. The peaceful protesting is fine, even though I don't think it will do anything.

Trump told the election is rigged, Democrats kept saying its not. He won, they have to accept the result.

2016, Democrats riot in protest. 2008, Democrats riot in celebration. Maybe Democrats just really like rioting.

I'm glad that you posted the picture proving the fact that the majority of voters didn't vote for Trump.

They're protesting the policies and the principles that Donald represents, not democracy.
Republicans literally spent all of 2009 protesting President Obama.

Trump told the election is rigged, Democrats kept saying its not. He won, they have to accept the result.

I don't know how much easier I can phrase this.

They accept that he won the vote.
They don't like that he won the vote.
There is a difference between not liking that he won and not accepting the official result. It really isn't that difficult to understand.

And you think people annoyed that he didn't win the popular vote are just cry babies?
Well it's good to know how you feel about Donald Trump considering that in 2012 he posted a barrage of tweets denouncing the electoral college vote as a 'disaster for democracy' and called for a revolution because the candidate with the popular vote lost? Even though Obama did win both the popular vote and electoral vote in 2012. He even said "We should march on Washington."
So Donald Trump should agree wholeheartedly with the protestors outside his tower.

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

By Donald Trump's own logic he should have not accepted the presidency, stepped down, and let Clinton take the white house because she did win the popular vote.
But he's not principled so why would we expect him to do something like that?

Let me guess though... Trumpitty trump trump blah blah blah? Ignore facts, love Trump.

Oh my goodness. No. People don't want to accept the man. Not the vote.
But even so let's say you're right. They hate that he won by the electoral college and are protesting just about the vote. Let's say that's true.

Donald Trump should agree with them.

-> Donald Trump says he hates the electoral college system.
-> Protesters don't want to accept the vote because he only won by the electoral college
-> Donald Trump should agree with them.

That is as simply as I can put it for you. I am truly sorry for you if you can't understand that.

This was said in 2012 but I'm not going to be one of those people. In my opinion I think that he was quite upset when Mitt Romney lost after his endorsement and donating towards him.

I think people should let Trump have a chance, like Clinton said, let Trump have a chance to lead. He isn't even in Office officially and people are already saying things like ''Not my President''. Well sorry but he is.

So you're fine with Trump being a hypocrite?
"I dislike the electoral college unless it is working in my favor."

I understand it, we're all hypocrites in one way or another. I just want him and his supporters to be able to admit it.

With that being said, what is your honest opinion on the electoral college?

I am all for giving Trump a chance, I have said that the protesting is fine even though I think it's pointless and won't get anywhere.
The rioting, violence, and property damage obviously isn't OK though.

I'm not too sure on how the electoral college system works as I haven't educated myself on it much so if you can PM me or something then you can go ahead and I'll give you my opinion.

I know and accept that Hillary isn't perfect. In fact I think she is downright deplorable, ironically enough.
But can you not bring yourself to say that Trump is a hypocrite without deferring to criticism of Hillary?

I'm not a far-left liberal SJW who wants to catch you out and force you to denounce your favorite candidate.
I just want to see a genuine Trump supporter, who doesn't see him as the lesser of two evils, criticism him in even the most benign way.
I have heard people say that these kinds of supporters exist, but I have never encountered one.

All that this can achieve is making his supporters look more reasonable and him look more human to the far left.
