Remastered is great, I personally love Cod4 so much so I spent the $80 just to play it again I don't care.
IW in my opinion is trash, if you're into the future stuff then maybe you'll like it.

The zombies is pretty fun though, it's different but fun.

I personally think both games are great. Worth it in my opinion

i bought IW / Remastered completely open minded. And i hate IW. But the remastered is awesome! LOVE IT

It is if you want to play Cod4, the only thing that bothers me about the remaster is that the spawns are messed up on some maps such as Bog, other than that its a great game.

I believe you need to have the IW disk inside the console in order to play MWR. Not 100% sure though.

No you need to own a copy of IW in order to play MWR.
It's shitty yea but thats Activision.
