So I was wondering whether it was worth me buying an xbox one in your opinion. Before I start I want to say that a PS4 is completely out of the question because of the backwards compatibility of the xbox one. I currently have a fairly decent PC with an i5 processor, gtx 970 graphics card and it can run almost any game. My problem is that there are little to no players on pc which makes the gaming experience a lot less fun especially on multiplayer games like call of duty (can only find a match on the newest call of duty on 1 server). Basically I was going to buy an xbox one for the multiplayer experience, do you think this is a good idea then just continue to play all the single player games and non xbox exclusive titles on pc?

I've had an Xbox One since they came out, I sold my PS4 before that to get it. Never regretted buying one. Even though I don't play it as much now as I've moved to PC, I still had a lot of fun on it with friends. You will definitely find more players playing COD on consoles, as opposed to COD 4 days when PC was swarming. You should try going onto subreddit's and find some people to play with on PC.

It's a good investment, it's great for when friends come over and I think it's the more superior console (I have a PS4 now too, inb4 fanboy war), I enjoy them both but Xbox One always takes the cup for me and it's updates improve it daily.

IMHO, get one if you feel you need one. Nobody should tell you otherwise. If you can afford one and think you will benefit from it, get it. But don't forget about gaming on PC. You have a good enough computer to run new games and ones in the future, there are a lot of great games out there that are good for consoles and good for PC's. You just have to find which games tickle your fancy on consoles/PC.

Good luck.

Yeah I agree with everything you say thanks a lot. PC is honestly a single player system to me since the graphics will always be nicer as well as the price being drastically cheaper for a game. Console was always really Call of Duty and multiplayer games to me which is why I enjoyed it so much when I had an xbox 360 years ago before I switched to PC. Thanks again, I probably will end up getting an Xbox and going back and playing Black Ops 1 and then Modern Warfare Remastered which is the main reason I've been looking for one because lets face it, most multiplayer games are completely dead on PC but single player on PC will always strive.

I've had the same one for 2 years. Make sure you actually plug it into the wall instead of an extension lead or a surge protector.

I have every console and a PC with an i7 4790K and a GTX 1070.
Even with all that I really enjoy my xbox one and use it as my main system for the TV.

Ha I have an i5 and 970 as well but I do also own a Xbone S only because of the lack of multiplayer for cod.

Ive had the PS4 but never really used it that much only when I had it as my only console.

And if your on a tight budget I would wait for the Scorpio but its up to you.
