xBox 360 License Transfer Guide
Note:You have 30 minutes to do this, Or you'll have to restart


Step 1.


* Make sure both your xBox 360 & Computer are hooked up to the internet.


Step 2.


* Follow this [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] And do each step. (Walk through coming soon, I cant make one now because i need another account.)


Step 3.


* Once you have completed the License Transfer process, You will have to Redownload all DLC you had on your old xBox.

xBox 360 Data Transfer
You have two options for moving data from your previous hard drive, to the New Xbox 360.


1. Transfer via USB- Fast and perfect for small profiles with limited DLC

2. Transfer via Xbox 360 Hard Drive Transfer Kit Takes a little longer but will allow you to transfer any amount of data.

For transfer using USB simply save up to 16gb of your profile/content, to an approved USB storage device on your old console. Plug said storage device into The New Xbox 360 and you are good to go. You will still have to perform a license transfer on [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] to access your old content.



For transfer via Xbox 360 Hard Drive Transfer Kit its a little more involved;

Step 1.


* Turn off your old console and disconnect the hard drive.


Step 2.


* Using your Xbox 360 Hard Drive Transfer Kit, connect your old 360s hard drive to the non USB end of the cable, then connect the USB end to the New Xbox 360.


Step 3.


* After powering on the New Xbox 360, a message will pop up asking if you want to transfer to, or from console. You want to select Yes, transfer to console, after selecting that, just hit Start on the next screen and your data transfer will begin.


Step 4.


* Now that the New Xbox 360 is loaded with your old content, you will want to perform a license transfer at this [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (Same as above).
