I think he is talking about the AI, when your not controlling your defense the computer defends for you

If people don't use there own defence just keep crossing the ball into the box or dribble into the is and do a driven pass (RB+A)

Longshots, get a good CAM and shoot from distance and even if you don't score you may force a corner which you can score from. Crossing works well if you can play the early crosses for your striker to run on to. People who track with their midfielders and let the AI do the defending always give you space so don't be afraid to shoot

Do they automatically deffend for you if you don't touch the controller or is there like a setting you need to change?
