I think it has to do with the port installing or something. I skipped a process awhile back it said it could do something to the process while it was installing the device into the computer. I want to update it but now I cant without iTunes, yes I know you can by going to the Settings but it sits at Checking for Update so a fix to either would greatly help me. If fret her i formation needs to be said just say so thanks.

EDIT:please if you going to say something read the post. Please don't waste my time
Note: I know how to update driver but tried both there in recommended and didn't work?

could be a bad port, try a different cable or a different outlet. if it doesn't charge, likely you may have a software error but likely a hardware error.

It works perfectly with my phone and it's not the iPads ports cause I can charge it in other places

Just charge it up through a wall plugin then plug it into your computer? Your computer isn't giving off enough power to charge the iPad. Not a big deal lol. I take it you jailbroke your iPad.

battery % isnt a issue thats fine i want to update it cant update through normal socket or a ps4 port. As I said in the post I skipped a installtion step when installing the ports for the iPad for some reason. Finding a way to update the driver or fix it anyway possible

Plug it in, go to driver manager, and find the port the iPad is in. right click it and click update driver or click properties/options and click drivers then update.

one - You skipped a process because it said you could? lol why it is just an update.

two - if updating your ports didn't work YOU'RE NOT getting enough power.

three - if you are really that concerned have YOU TRIED other laptops/pc

four - your topic is misled, first off the device isn't showing the charging percentage, but a few posts later it is or "that isn't a issue" THEN WHY... so don't become a smart ass when someone tries to explain.

five - try installing the drivers for your iPad, there are other methods then just property updates.

six - how hard could it be to just take a minute and make your post make some sense, because one moment you say it has something to do with the port installing. the title has not charging, of course after reading i am going to come in a mention charging issues, YET you decide to completely avoid that.

install iTunes and update magic

If you read I said my iphone works fine so power isnt a issue I have multiple cords i use. I skipped a process to install as I said previously it wasn't a update. I put that as the title to show that my computer wasn't reading my ipad, not to charge the thing, once again if you read it correctly I said I want to update it(not charge it). Yes I am concerned but I am the only in my house with a laptop/PC and I am sick currently so it isn't wise for me to outside right now as it is cold and the nearest place I can is about 2 miles away(walking). Trust me I tried updating ports and installing went trough a lot of troubleshooting. I have iTunes installed everything is updated dont say that. Just stop bringing up battery issues I said in the original post I WANT TO UPDATE THE IPAD do not reply if you do not read simple the 3rd point you tried to makes 0 sense i didn't say u want to charge the thing did I?
