On Monday (10/24/2016) a Donald Trump voter in Texas was arrested for wearing a shirt that had the phrase "basket of deplorables" on it, mocking a statement Hillary Clinton made where she stated that half of Trump supporters were "a basket of deplorables".

A Donald Trump voter in Texas was arrested Monday for wearing a T-shirt to the polls that mocked Hillary Clintons infamous comment in which she said half of Trump supporters were a basket of deplorables.
Brett Mauthe, 55, was arrested in Bulverde, Texas after wearing a pro-Trump hat, and a T-shirt saying basket of deplorables, according to KSAT 12.
Mauthe told the outlet that while he removed the hat at the request of officials, he refused to turn his T-shirt inside out and said he was not aware that wearing it was a violation of the election code. When he refused to remove the shirt, he was arrested.
Other voters told KSAT they didnt realize the rules, which prohibit "electioneering" by the voting booths, applied to voters.
I dont feel like you should be preaching to anybody, but I do feel like you should be able to wear a shirt if you want and if it has the candidate, local resident Georgina Pereida said.
Cynthia Jaqua, the Comal County elections coordinator, told MySanAntonio.com that it is almost unheard of for anyone to be arrested on an electioneering charge, but noted that Mauthes behavior is in violation of the code.
Electioneering is prohibited within a 100-foot marker. You cannot express views for or against a candidate or political party by wearing buttons, T-shirts, hats, whatever else or carrying signs, she said.
Mauthe was released on a $500 bond and is charged with a misdemeanor which carries a possible fine of $500.

What that's so rigged man, if someone was against a party what they didn't like and have a phase on their T-shirt something about a party you would get arrested for it?

Going to jail and having a criminal record does ruin your life, in fact most people fall into crime once in the system because of how much that ruins your life. It makes it harder on you to find jobs, it changes how people will look at you. It really does affect alot I've seen from first hand experiences. My family has been torn apart because of the justice system, my dad was arrested on a misdemeanor charge and lost his job because of it, and we lost the house after that because of no way to pay it, and my parents got a divorce right after that... so I mean it ruined my family's life just because you don't see it the same doesn't mean that its not true.

The US is so corrupt. I don't like living here anymore. This is ridiculous that a man can't go to vote and have on just a shirt, but the running presidents do anything in their power to ruin the other candidate! Absolutely blows my mind how dirty this country is, they enforce the rules, but don't follow them themselves. Hypocrites

Fix the bait title, that is not the reason he was arrested. It was for electioneering. If it were someone wearing a Hilary shirt, the same thing would've happened to them.
Title should say; "Man Arrested for Electioneeering".
