Hello TTG, I'm wanting to become an entrepreneur. I know people are wanting to say, just get a regular job, but I don't wanna do that. Any advice that someone could give me?

Edit: Thanks for all these so far! Any advice on how to get a starting fund?

Create your own idea and go for it. Never give up on your dream. This world is a very tough and crucial one, once you find your niche or idea, build on it and never let it go.

Do what you know you'll be happy with going to everyday. Stick to one thing and just go for it & don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.

If you're in it for the money, forget about. You will lose out your ass and have tons of debt for at least the first few years. You have to have a true passion for the product. Passion is what makes the difference between an entrepreneur, and a wantrepreneur.

Watch the show "Shark tank", you will see what I mean about the difference between an entrepreneur, and a wantrepreneur. Look up interviews of successful people and how they got to where they are. Mark Cuban is a great guy to get some pointers from.

What if I'm a hedge fund manager? Or a stock broker? In it for the money? Shark Tank is the worst thing to watch if you want to learn to be "successful".

Get of TTG and decide how you want to be successful. Whatever you want to do. Get investors, make a product, or just get a good job. Being successful doesn't mean you have to run a company. Put in hard work and dedication, and don't be afraid to fail a lot.

Most people on her are teenagers. I wouldn't look here to become successful.

Depends on how old you are, get a job and build up the funds, then when you are ready use your funds you built wisely.

I didn't say watch Shark tank to learn to be successful, if you go back you will see that is what I used so you could see the differences between an entrepreneur, and a wantrepreneur. Hedge fund manager and stock brokers both work for a company, their not independent / trying to get a new product or service out so that is nill.
