I'll be 20 in December, never been in an accident or anything. I wanted to get an '03 Mustang GT but I'm pretty sure insurance would eat me alive. I'm thinking of maybe a Miata, or EG civic, but I'm all for suggestions. Preferably I wouldn't want to spend more than $5k, and something somewhat easy to mod, and it has to be manual because forget all that automatic crap lol.

Call and ask for a quote on insurance on the mustang. If you've been driving since you were 16, your rates should drop a lot next year if you keep a perfect record as you'll have a perfect record for 5 years.

03 Gt wouldnt be as bad as you think. Im 18 owned the car since 16 and I pay around $1600 a year with full coverage, and I have it covered up to $10,000. I pay a bit more than that, but I have a shit ton of money into the car.

What they dont know is the cars making 424hp...

(I own a 03GT)
