Update

We have go extremely lucky, the hurricane drifted towards the east, and stopped drifting west. Which means it did not make land fall. My house will have minimum damage, and will be livable. It has passed my area, we still will have to deal with storms, but the hurricane it self has passed. I appreciate all the support, and love from you guys. If the hurricane still hasn't hit you yet, please be safe!

Original Post
Well, I would like to say wish me luck I will be dealing with a bad storm, and I currently live in the direct path of this hurricane. My home, and items will all be destroyed, luckily thats why home insurance is a thing. I hope I dont die.

Note: With this hurricane I will become inactive as I will have no internet, power, or anything along those lines.

Where do you reside? Best you can do is listen to your local authorities and evacuate if needed.

Well, a hotel in another city. Sadly we cannot just stay here and ride it out. As its a category 3-4

Well if you are in the U.S. it is still early so it may change course but the safest bet is to move further inland if possible and ride it out. I have family in New Jersey so i'm also hoping that is changes course

That's crazy and scary to think at the same time, I wish all the best for you and hoping that your hoe/area and items won't get hit. Where I live we don't get known of that see so I'm lucky.

I'm on the PA/NY border and it is supposed to hit me as well. A couple years ago my family was hit by Tropical Storm Lee and we lost our entire house. Stay strong, if you need someone to PM I will be here!

Hopefully it misses you or dies down somehow and honestly if you're in a flood zone, I'd get to the store asap and try to get some sort of waterproof sealer for doors and other spaces water can get in or something like that.
