Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint at a luxury residence in Paris by at least two men dressed as police officers, her publicist and police say.
A police spokesman said the haul from the robbery, mostly jewellery, was worth up to 6 million (£5.2m; $6.7m).
The concierge led the gunmen to the residence where they tied Kardashian up in the bathroom, police said.
A spokeswoman for the star, who is 35, said she was "badly shaken but physically unharmed".
Reports say the star has now left France, flying out of a Paris airport aboard a private jet.
Ina Treciokas told CNN the robbery was carried out by two masked men with guns. Police sources told the Associated Press news agency that they were seeking five assailants, two of whom had forced their way into the house.
A jewellery box containing valuables worth 6 million was stolen, as well as a ring worth 4 million, AP reported, citing police officials.
The robbery took place at about 02:30 local time (00:30 GMT), police said.
Kardashian's husband, the rapper Kanye West, was on stage at the Meadows Music and Arts Festival in New York at the time of the robbery. He abruptly ended his set, telling fans: "I'm sorry, family emergency. I have to stop the show."

Well we see how important his family is, that's cool.
I doubt they will be able to sell her stuff online without being caught. Especially at that price. I guess the street can get a good "hot" price

I saw the article first earlier today and thought it was fake then I saw all the tweets on Twitter of Kanye leaving during a show, then I believed it.
But c'mon on 6 mil? Those robbers probably needed it more than they do.
Kim is just a unskilled degenerate "badly shaken". If we were in the apocalypse her family would be the first to go.
If you have a ring worth 4 mil you deserve for it to be stolen.

I saw this on World News Tonight at 4am today. It's bad but I said she kinda deserved it.. shouldn't be flaunting million dollar jewelry in the first place

I find it incredible how everyone's moral code launches itself into orbit whenever something bad happens to a famous person that they dislike.
I don't like Kim and Kanye, but nobody innocent 'deserves' to be robbed at gunpoint. Them being rich has no bearing on whether or not this was a bad thing.
She's a human being who can feel terror just like everyone else.

Fair play to Kanye for cancelling his show as soon as he heard, then flying to Paris. Most people would just give their other half a phone call, if that.

WHAT, 6 million dollars was stolen. Damn that must of sucked for them. As well a ring for 4 million dollars. A lot of cash for a ring. Where's the security for her and for the family? Scary stuff man.

I don't follow Kanye or Kim at all. That being said, that does not factor into my thoughts about this.
From the article I read on CNN just a bit ago, there are a few questionable things that I seen. For one, sending away your bodyguard just because your heading to bed, not a smart idea. On top of this, I did not see anywhere in the article stating that they forced their way into the room, which leads to a very questionable point. Why was the door left unlocked? Sure she may have had two floors to herself (Which I find stupid to have anyways) but no matter what you would lock your door when you're heading to bed. If you're in a hotel room, do you go to bed while keeping your room unlocked? I doubt it. I live in a dorm at college and always make sure to lock my door whether it be leaving for class, to get something to eat, or heading to bed. My door is always Locked. Plus how would the thieves know exactly which room she was staying in? To me the whole story is kind of fishy. Plus I mean come on, seriously, you need to have an eight vehicle facade to go from the airport back to your house just because you got robbed overseas? Two vehicles would have sufficed.
