Hi guys, I've been working on an RPG for the last several months, which I'm planning to release for android. I'm just seeing what kind of interest there is, and what people would expect from a game like this on a handheld device.

First I would like to say, even though I grew up around the N64 era and was spoiled by 3d graphics, at a later age I was able to see past a game graphics and became interested in games like Fallout 1 & 2, Baldurs gate, and Planescape torment. So these type of games would influence the creation of this game that I'm working on, and hopefully it doesn't end up being a "cookie cutter" type of Rpg. That being said, there will still be some conventional elements of an Rpg.

There will be stats system, Inventory system, loot system, quest and dialogue system. However, unlike Rpgs like the Elder scrolls which you can create your characters race and facial characteristics, I don't plan on adding a third person view. I want to tell a specific story, with a specific character, that character is you, and becomes you. The story will still be non-linear and will unfold by the player's choice. So, hopefully I didn't bore you guys, I'm interested to see what what things people would like to see in a game like this.[img] [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] [/img]
