When I used hair gel I used some dollar store brand HAHA.. but it worked so hey..

I use Mousse, blow dry my hair, and use hairspray to hold it :L

I dont use gel much but Id put some clay in my hair just to get it the way I want.I get a fade back and sides and fairly long on top

It's basically invisible, no wet/greasy look on your hair which is why some gels can be a problem for blonde hair. They offer different strengths.

Depends what you would call expensive. I think it's about 4-5 GBP per tub.
