Customer - "Just looking thanks" *flashes the fakest smile for a whole 0.000000001 seconds

Me - "Hey man whats up"
Customer - "Good"
Me (im doing good too thanks for not asking asshat) "anything I can help you find"
Customer - "Eh everythings so expensive here, im good"
Me - "Oh well have a good one then"
Customer - "yea"

Idk if its just where I live but EYE CONTACT is like non existent, eye contact is almost like an intimidation tactic I feel like around here so NO ONE makes eye contact and when someone does its usually because they are well off, or from a different town. So everyone mumbles and never makes eye contact so I cant hear a word anyone says because they are talking to the ground being a sourpuss. Probably sounds like I hate my job, I dont I just dont like people being awkward as shit when there is really no reason to be. Lol, I'm the type of guy to be flashing the fake smile for the .01 of a second, lmao! Although sometimes I genuinely smile and feel like the associate is the one faking it.

No matter how hard you try in work, even though people sweat to get their money. You will always find a customer that is depressed, don't have respect, moody because what they brought. You just have to forget what they've said/done to you and get on with your day.
