I dont think anyone wants to be forced into buying their new game. If I wanted Infinite Warfare, Id buy Infinite Warfare, not be forced into just to reclaim a remastered part of my childhood. What a crappy capitalist ploy.

Of course they would do this it's Activison.
They knew Infinite Warfare wouldn't do good on sales if they sold Cod4 remastered separately.
I'm sure at least 75% of Infinite Warefare sales will be because people want cod4. That's the only reason why I'm buying it.

Be glad they're remastering cod 4 and giving it to us when we buy Infinite warfare legacy edition. People said cod was a copy and paste, they wanted change and it happened. they made this game for their fans. they didnt have to remaster cod 4.

yes. and as you said earlier, they knew it would do bad on sales? they started developing this game before advanced warfare even came out so they didnt know how people would react to it.

Yea but I'm sure they weren't gonna require a copy of Infinite warfare to play cod4 at the start of development. Until they seen the backlash at Bo3 & AW and realized everyone just wanted boots on the ground.

I could go on and on about this topic but I won't, I've given up on cod and will just be playing cod4.

I think cod 4 would generate a lot more money than what Infinitive warfare would bring in. So the only way they had to do it was to release it if you pre-ordered IW. It's pretty smart. Most companies are doing it now. Won't be long until it's around £100 for a standard edition xb1 game.

Regardless if you don't play IW, COD4R for 80$ is a STEAL. The fact that we all get to relive '07 again on the same game, with the same progression, with updated graphics whether you played back then or not is worth more than what they're asking. Not sure why people complain about this. If you can't afford an 80$ expenditure then you're either

  • A kid

  • Someone with poor money management skills


I barely play video games compared to what I used to yet i would pay 120$ if that was the price.

I love Cod 4 but I'm not giving into their marketing move. I'll wait instead of wasting my money.
