Just your classic case of ignorance. I've never been there, but my parents went for their 20th? Anniversary, they said that if they could, they would move there in a heartbeat.

My only real problem about Hawaii, is how expensive everything is. If I remember correctly, a single loaf of bred was like 5-6$ and milk was like 8-10$ per gallon.

Don't know how accurate that is though, they just came back talking about how beautiful and amazing it was.

I am pretty jealous about your fresh fruit though, I hate pineapple, but they brought back some pineapple with them, and damn was it good, best fruit I ever ate.

Other than the extra shipping costs from most places, it seems like a nice place.

dah wrote I find it interesting you're living over there in Hawaii.
What sort of things do you do there? Sorry for a random question.

Well if you guessed I do skate, but I love surfing.
I think everyone should get barreled at least once in their life.
The view from inside a barrel is just indescribable.

Yea it's stupud expensive here.
Milk is about 6-8$ a gallon. Depending on what type of milk your'e buying.
Bread is about 5$ a loaf. Lots of stores offer Kama'aina discount which give us a discount for being residents of Hawaii.
It kinda helps with how expensive things are lol.

Bruh online shopping is probably my biggest problem lol.
Because we don't have much stores that offer certain things.
So I look online for it and sometimes shipping is just ridiculous.
And if it's free shipping it will take at least 2 weeks. Rip.

If you're not careful enough you'll chill too hard and end up being a beach bum lol.
After I graduated High School all I did everyday was non stop surfing, no interest in getting a job.
So my mom would always nag me about getting a career started.

I think people who live out there are insane tbh. Not trying to offend anyone, buy you live on an island (or chain of islands) that can get wiped out by a tsunami, and you are living on a volcano. Other than that, prices on everything are WAY too high for my liking lol.

Lol bro the Big Island has the tallest mountain in the world from sea level, Mauna Kea. I think we're fine from tsunamis haha.

But seriously the islands aren't that small that it could easily get wiped out from a tsunami. Maybe from one in like the Hollywood movies yea but the likelihood of that happening in our lifetime is slim.

And the only active volcano in Hawaii is on the Big Island, but by active it doesn't mean its spurring lava everywhere across the island 24/7.
