My gf needs a laptop for university and not sure what to get, she'll be using it for work stuff and browsing the Internet, nothing to fancy or expensive max £200.
What would be a good laptop to get

I've come across 2 laptops that look good for a reasonable price.

Rather it not be refurbished, prefer it to be brand new

Most old laptops with Windows 8 will be offered to install Windows 10 for free at start up.

I mean you can always get a chrome book for cheap. They arent the best because you cant download much programs to it and imo is basically a tablet with a keyboard.
But if shes just going to be doing research on the web etc then why not, it'll get the job done for a cheap price.

No problem man, if you do decide on a chromebook I would recommend this for starters.
Nice design, 4gb RAM, 16gb SSD and it's in your budget.
