Try taking the two bottom screws out, lifting up the screen, and then take a nail or something sharp and poke it into the battery, Worked for me.

Yeah could be an issue with your drivers if this is the case. Do you still have the USB wall plug? You can give that a try and see it it charges with that method. If not it could be the charge cable itself.

Update:
Phone is fixed, it was the cord I was using it had been shorted.
